In August 2023, the New Zealand Government removed all COVID-19 public health requirements.  COVID-19 persists in the community, and we will arrange for you to take a Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on arrival and at times during the program. The frequency of these tests will be determined at the time, based on the advice of the New Zealand Ministry of Health. EcoQuest will provide you with the RAT packs.

Should you test positive for COVID, you may be moved to your own room, and we will provide appropriate support and meal arrangements until you are ready to re-join the group. Remember to wear a well-fitting face mask whenever you are near other people. We will keep you involved with your learning either online or with handouts etc. provided. If your roommate tests positive for COVID-19, you should test every two days for a week, or immediately if you have symptoms.
