Accident Insurance

The Accident Compensation Corporation provides accident insurance for all New Zealand citizens, residents and temporary visitors to New Zealand, but you may still be liable for all other medical and related costs. Further information can be viewed on the ACC website at www.acc.co.nz.

Medical and Travel Insurance

As an international student at EcoQuest, you must have appropriate medical and travel insurance to meet the requirements of your visa. Your insurance must cover your time studying in, and travelling to and from New Zealand.

UNH International Travel Assistance and Insurance Program

The University of New Hampshire provides an emergency travel assistance service and travel insurance program to students traveling to EcoQuest. If you experience a medical emergency or security/natural disaster crisis, need a medical referral, lose your medication, or want to consult experts for pre-travel advice, UNH has a fully integrated program in place to insure you receive the care and expertise you need, whenever and wherever you need it. The fee for this insurance cover is $350 (Semester) or $170 (Summer) and is mandatory for all UNH-EcoQuest participants. Follow this link to read the coverage details.
